SEDONA, AZ, November 27, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Marty Herman, owner and manager of Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art, was selected by Marquis Who’s Who for a prominent feature in the Southern Arizona regional edition of Forbes magazine.
Having accrued more than 50 years of experience in the fields of marketing and the visual arts, Mr. Herman has garnered a lauded reputation as the owner of the Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art since 1996. Notable for its status as one of the largest and most unique fine art galleries in the world, Exposures International Gallery collaborates directly with nearly 100 top fine artists to present their work to the community while seamlessly blending the atmosphere of a small business with the sophistication of the most famous art facilities in the United States. The gallery boasts numerous oil and acrylic painters, fine jewelry artists, glass artists and sculptors working with bronze or stone across more than 20,000 square feet of art display.
At the start of his career journey, Mr. Herman was drafted into the U.S. military during the Vietnam War. After serving as a combat photographer and expert in photo intelligence, he worked as a marketing manager for Pacific Stereo from 1971 to 1974, after which he distinguished himself as the executive vice president and general manager of University Stereo from 1975 to 1980. Congruent with this period, Mr. Herman established JAM Advertising in Los Angeles and partnered with Monte Gast, a southern California marketing powerhouse, to build a clientele that included such prestigious companies as Coca-Cola, Oshman’s Sporting Goods, Ritz Camera, Guitar Center, Fred Segal Clothing and San Miguel Beer, along with numerous movie studios and record companies from 1977 through the mid-1980s. In addition, Mr. Herman volunteered as a head swim coach for the Special Olympics, became VP of marketing for Interference Corporation and as a sea captain, who sailed the world from 1984 to 1990.
Having celebrated the 25th anniversary of the gallery in 2021, Mr. Herman is honored to have become one of the larger sculpture sellers in the world while growing Exposures to become one of the top-ranked galleries in the country. Dedicated to his clients and the artists, he hopes to enjoy the continued success of his career giving back to the arts.
For his professional efforts, Mr. Herman was presented with the National Retailer of the Year Award for consumer electronics in 1979 and the Los Angeles Times recognized him among their Top 100 Executives. He was also recognized by Psychology Today magazine as a cultural leader for his generation.
Mr. Herman is proud that the Exposures International Gallery has earned many accolades, including recognition as the Best Art Gallery in both Sedona and Arizona, among the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, Best Jewelry Store in Sedona, Sedona Best of the Business Award, and with induction into the Business Hall of Fame.
